Birthday Countdown: Beyond the Reflection [3]

Do y'all remember when I did my advent project? Well, it'll be similar here as well... From June 22 to July 22, I will be creating and writing stuff for others. It'll be like a Hobbit Birthday Party! July 3rd, I'll have a special surprise up for my mum and daddy's 16th anniversary and July 4th I plan to post some fireworks with music! Otherwise, I'll be making art and writing poetry/stories until the big finale on my bday! xD Keep an eye out for it, yo!

Beyond the Reflection Chronicles

It is common knowledge in the world that we are our worst enemies. We often stay locked up in the chains of low self esteem... We look into the mirrors that we are caged inside and often reflect back to ourselves how worthless, ugly, and unwanted we are. But what if I were to tell you... There is something beyond the reflection? What if when we stared into the mirror we were really looking blindly into another world. As we press into the mirror and free ourselves, we become a mirror to reflect the love of One that all turn away from and when we return, we see things differently...

Book One: Beyond the Reflection

Melody has always struggled with depression and anxiety. She longed to be free from the chains of her past and fears of the future. She isolated herself and insomnia overran many of her nights with shame... When, one night alone, she saw a strange light that drew her close to the mirror, as she touch the glass and fell in, she was thrust into a world of fantasy of Corinim and to return home, she has a journey to take and task to do... As she goes on this journey and gains new friends, she learns slowly that her past mistakes just might be the means for her to see what true grace and love is.

Book Two: 99% Soul

Jacob is a liar and cheater. He likes pranks and tampering with dark things. But, when the darkness drew him deeper than he planned and then spit him right back out. He found himself very much alone and afraid except the demons he befriended. As time past,  he began cutting with broken pieces of mirror. As blood spilled, a peculiar light shone as he fell into the land of Corinim. To return, he must go on a journey and finish a task.  As he goes on this journey with his new friend, Melody, he finds freedom from his darkness and learns to no longer be afraid of the light.

Book Three: Bloodstained Hands

Melody and Jacob carry on their journey and continue the task they have been called to carry out together. When they are stopped by a young man with great influence in hypnotism. Jacob is drawn away from Melody, and though he was not corrupted, Melody was. And when Jacob sought Melody out, tracking her with the bloodstained pendants she had left behind, and the evidence that was left by the hypnotist, he found the Anthem Rise Community who aided him in the search by order of King Auorin, to bring her back and reveal mercy to her.

Book Four: Torn Walls

After bringing Melody back, with his new friend, Jennifer, Jacob returns with them to Anthem Rise. Gaining a new team under Captain Andrew Williams of Anthem Rise, they must find the walls of Baetari to seek clues on finding the key that Jacob and Melody had been sent to seek from the very beginning. Upon finding the walls, they found it was packed with merchants, soldiers, and mesmerized citizens carrying on their jobs forcibly. Hearing of evil intentions from spirits against Anthem Rise, they were found by their enemies. When they were caught there and almost taken, they fled... but one was left behind... Jennifer. Against the will of Jacob, Melody snuck back in to find Jennifer, as unbeknownst to Melody, plans were made to tear the walls down and free them all.

Book Five: Break Free

When Melody watched Jennifer fall away and willingly be a slave, even when Jacob and she helped free her, it broke her heart. Melody allowed what happened to end her quest of seeking the trinity key. Avoiding Jacob and anyway back home, she stayed and housed as a healer's apprentice. And as she refused to be found again to fight, King Auorin sent Captain Williams' team, including Jacob to bring her out of her self pity. She continued to refuse, until a revelation from King Auorin Himself struck her. She set out with a secondary mission to mentor a young lass named Chloe. As she mentored Chloe, she found through time that Chloe had a curse that Melody was to help her break free from.
